The dress is an interpretation of modern Filipiniana. As such, its bodice is fitted, transitioning into a mermaid skirt, and accentuated with structured butterfly sleeves. Unlike many other formal dresses, it is made with a breathable cotton blend which enables the garment to be worn in tropical climates without sacrificing comfort.
